A study by the German Academic Exchange Service looking at the link between internationalisation in higher education, its integration into university infrastructures and society at large. Drawing on  good practice examples and documents from transational bodies  such as the eEU, the authors argue for conceptualisation of HE internationalisation strategies in the broader framework of  engagement with society (e.g. refugee students)..
