The Faculty of Protestant Theology is part of the University of Bonn and offers university level education for pastors and teachers to-be (the latter in cooperation with the University of Cologne). Beside these courses that lead to degrees awarded by the churches resp. the state, the faculty awards Ph.D., Magister theol., B.A. and M.A. degrees in Protestant Theology, an interdisciplinary M.A. in Ecumenical Studies and Extended Ecumenical Studies.
