Please find here an overview of resources for young people, teachers, and educationally relevant target groups. It is intended to inform international guests on exchange opportunities with Germany.

An exchange programme open to young people from EU countries which aims at inspiring contacts across countries Students from  Europe spend time in German classrooms and run projects to inform about their home country and about EU goals.

PASCH  is a  network that  is based on the idea of sprreading information about Germany and the German language across the  world. Students are inspired to  learn German, engage in exchange programmes and later take up a study course or  training in Germany.

Come to Germany is an information service for young people seeking a placement, study opportunity or exchange programme, short term, in Germany, it provides information and addresses. Young people can also access databases for placements.

Exchange programmes for teachers

The Pädagogischer Austauschdienst is the sole public organisation in Germany working on behalf of the Federal States to promote international exchange and cooperation in the school sector. The PAD is a department of the Secretariat of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany (Kultusministerkonferenz).

The portal allows schools in the UK and in non-EU regions to register and search for partnerships, and informs about funding oppoertunities and networking activities.

International exchange in vocational education and training

iMOVE is an initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), with offices at the Federal Institute for Vocational Training (BIBB) in Bonn. The objective is to promote international collaboration and the initiation of cooperation and business relationships in vocational training and continuing education.
