The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC) is an agreement among a group of U.S. states and the District of Columbia to award all their electoral votes to whichever presidential candidate wins the overall popular vote in the 50 states and the District of Columbia (2020). 

The global compact was endorsed by the General Assembly, and aims to strengthen the international response to large movements of refugees and protracted refugee situations (2018).

The agreement, prepared under the auspices of the United Nations, that covers ʺall dimensions of international migration in a holistic and comprehensive mannerʺ (2018).
